Purpose

Jaw Bone Ministries has three main purposes.

1. To help build relationships between youth and Adults within the Body of Christ.
( Titus 2:1-7 ). Far to often many young people are leaving the Church once they are old enough to leave youth groups. One reason for this, is because few relationships have been established between youth and adults. (Proverbs 1: 2-6)) is one verse used by JBM to show that the wisdom of adults needs to be passed onto the youth. It is sorely needed, yet often neglected. Therefore many of them feel disconnected once they are submersed in the Adult Church. Not old enough to relate completely to Adults. But are now to old to hang out with their friends whom they have been with for the last four or more years of their life. Therefore JBM is dedicated to helping the body of Christ identify the problem, and offer solutions to help build relationships between youth and adults.

2. A Ministry of opportunity. Sadly, there are many people called to the Lords work, yet are often overlooked. Sometimes based only on the way they look. Although there always needs to be certain amounts of prayer, and discerning involved when thinking about offering someone opportunities to take part in, JBM is concerned more with the Character of Christ, than anything else. But JBM also recognizes that this is not a “free ticket” for people to hold any appearance they want.

3. Change. JBM is a Ministry of change. JBM does not want to become a Ministry that always talks and lives for the “good old days.” Keep it new, keep it fresh, keep it updated. But never deviate from the Word of God.
