For those of u who don't fit in.

2 Corinthians 6:17- Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the lord, and touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive you.

One day my Foreman and I ran into a couple of guys we use to work with.
We all started talking. I got to hear the foul language, all the "hot ladies" that one of them had been with, and watching as the three of them were drinking some beers while playing "catch up"
At one point I realized I had little to say. Aside from our old work partner asking me if I had gotten another tattoo, there really wasn't much else for me to talk about. No, I did not fit in. No, I had nothing to add to the conversation, and no, I am not one of them.
It's ok to not "fit in". Remember guys, we are not suppose to fit in. We are set aside in Christ. We are to have nothing to do with the World.
So often we claim we are independent, individual, and unique for Christ. Yet many times many of us become frustrated because we don't "fit in". Don't feel bad. You don't have to try to be a part of them. I have never "fit in" my whole life. So what? I am truly unique, individual, and dependent on Christ.
The next time u feel u don't fit in with the world, and the popular kids, remember this. If you are the one who does not fit in, then you are the one they will eventual notice.
God bless

The Jesus people see.

Some time ago I went to "In-n-out" Burger, which by the way puts scriptures on the bottom of their soda and milk shake cups. As I walked up a Man asked me if I had a few bucks I could give him. I told him I would buy him something to eat. So we went inside and he asked if I was a Christian. I told him I was a Reverend and we chatted for a little bit. He was out of work and lost his home. I gave him the number of the company I work for to see if he could get some work. ( I am a construction worker).
He made a few comments about Satan being a liar and wanting to destroy God's children. (so true). After we got our food and walked out I told him I would pray for him. He was touched by that. I didn't have to carry my Bible around to show off I am a servant and child of God. It's ok to do that. I am not saying don't carry your Bible. But when we don't have our Bible with us when we are in the World, then we need to be the Jesus that the Bible says we belong to. That was me that day. I was the Jesus he saw when I had no Bible with me. I encourage all of you don't just be Jesus with your Church friends. Be the Jesus of the bible when nobody else is watching. You never know who you will meet.
God bless.
